Ashley Dupre, the call girl whose acts, with former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer led to his resignation, has broken her silence by thanking her friends and strangers, including one man named Spiderman for the support extended to her in the wake of the exposure.

The curvy hooker said on her MySpace page that she was overwhelmed by the response after she was accused of turning 4,000- dollar-a-night tricks.

"Your words have touched me and I thank you for that.
