Determined Musharraf Throws Down The Gauntlet Over Impending Impeachment Battle

, Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf has reportedly said that he won't resign from the Presidency in the event of Impeachment Motion brought against him, and that he would contest every charge to be levelled against him by the federal government.

After it became amply clear that the Government will soon bring an impeachment motion against him, Musharraf held consultations with legal aides till late last night, and also made important telephone calls to his allies to foil the ruling coalition's bid to impeach him.
